Weekly Anime Review

I dropped Re: Hamatora this week because I don’t like where it is going that much. For the rest, threads are picking up. Argevollen succeeded in having the worst and best animations of its season in a single episode. Mahouka shows that kids can easily be bullies to adults. Captain Earth has people doing stupid things. Adnoah Zero has a “Yeah, I love flying battleships” moment. Finally, Sword Art…

Weekly Anime Review

Once again, some nice action and plot development this week. Somewhat normal weeks for the almost-ending shows like Mahouka and Captain Earth. Weekly Anime Review

Argevollen might be the weak link, but it is still building, though much more slowly than did Aldnoah. I also added Re: Hamatora even though I originally forgot that the new season was starting, I’m…

Weekly Anime Review

We got some action this week. Knight of Sidonia continues in reducing the ship’s population at alarming rate, and Black Bullet does something similar. Nobunaga the Fool has less death, but they still hit where it hurts. Finally, Captain Earth has a strange episode. I really don’t know where this is going. (more…)
